What they do: Puppy Hill Farm is a tax-deductible animal rescue organization that strives
to save as many animals as possible and reduce euthanasia at the Alachua County Animal
Shelter.
What YOU can do to help: Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Helping at the Farm – includes washing and brushing animals
Groomers
Dog Trainers
Adopt-a-Pet Days: walk the pets, set-up, hand out brochures and information, talk to
people, clean up (These days occur each Saturday from 11a.m. to 5p.m. and each Sunday from 12noon to
4p.m. at Gainesville’s PetSmart store).
Pet Washes (starting in May)
Fosters: foster cats and dogs (Note: Training is provided.)
New Program Development: (such as “Senior Pet Pals” Program)
Fund Raisers: (like bake sales, garage sales, and Dog Walks).
