Friends of Dudley Farm is a not for profit corporation that works with Dudley Farm Historic State Park staff to support the preservation, operation and interpretation of the park.

What they do: Dudley Farm is a working, authentic farm from the 1880s. The homestead has 18 buildings, including a farmhouse, general store, post office, kitchen outbuilding, cane syrup complex, gardens and animals. There are seasonal activities such as cane grindings and corn shuckings. Park staff and volunteers dress in period clothing. The park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
What YOU can do to help: Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Farmhouse Flower and Vegetable Gardens: Volunteers help plant and maintain the gardens.
Commissary Clerk: Volunteers educate visitors, answer questions and sell merchandise
Docent: Volunteers guide school children on tours and host station stops at special programs.
Farmhouse & Kitchen Maintenance: Volunteers clean and dust the farmhouse and kitchen.
Crafts & Domestic Skills Group: Volunteers meet on Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m. to quilt and do other traditional crafts.
Transcriber: Volunteers listen to oral histories and type them.
Musicians: Volunteers play old-time music for visitors.
Publicity: Volunteers work booths at festivals and provide announcements to magazines, television and newspapers.
