Who they are: Rebuilding Together NCF is an organization that does repairs on people’s homes who live in substandard housing and need these repairs so they can stay in their homes. The organization tries to increase the security, safety and well-being of the residents by completing critical house repairs. One of their sayings is “A safe and healthy home for every person.” The preservation of homeownership that is affordable for low-income residents is very important to the Rebuilding Together NCF organization.
What YOU can do to help: Volunteers are needed to help with the home repair projects. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. Volunteers under 18 have to have a responsible adult for every five volunteers on the worksite. There is an on-line Volunteer Application that you can fill out and submit on-line. The volunteer application has a list of tools that volunteers can bring with them if they have the tools at home and want to help out in that way.
