(A bicycle safety training course and community information fair event for the entire family)

“Join UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, the University of Florida Police Department and several community partners to learn how to help keep your child safe and healthy this summer. Enjoy interactive games, music, free bike helmets, a bike obstacle course and the “Touch a Truck” activity where children are given the opportunity of a hands-on learning experience about emergency vehicles and pedestrian safety.
Remember to bring your bicycles!
- Children can participate in a bike obstacle course and play games
- Children will have the opportunity to win one of 75 free bicycles. *Must be present to win
- All children who attend will receive a FREE bicycle helmet and can get it fitted on site
- Bring your vehicle to the event to find out if your child’s car seat is safe and installed correctly.”
We are looking for family friendly community volunteers and booth vendors who can provide free information, materials and resources to the public. The theme will be to promote fun, healthy and safe information for our community families. Please let us know if you could attend and display your information/resource. To setup a booth, please bring your materials such as table, chair, tent, etc. as necessary.
